Welcome!
My name is Alex Uvalle and I currently reside in Bend, Oregon with my Husband Max Warbington, and our two baby dogs; Hamilton James and Cash Gideon. I graduated from California Sate University Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a Minor in Photographic studies.
I moved to Oregon a year after graduating CSUC and haven't looked back. I picked up a camera long before college when I was 16 and am still blown away by the narrative and beauty that can come out of that little black box. I have always leaned towards natural lighting and portraiture as my emphasis, and boast a clarity and originality I see rarely.
A Micron pen was discovered a few years later as I learned I could draw while living in the ever artistic, Portland, OR. I enjoy the challenge each new illustration piece brings, and get nervous every time... will I be able to catch that spirt, or personally in their eyes via pen and paper? I sure hope so!
I travel to Mexico for a decent part of the year to maintain my Spanish, soak up the beautiful colorful culture, and defrost from the Oregon winters. This being said, I will have access to both forest/ snow and desert/sun within a decent time frame for any specific photos one may need.
I recently decided to take the plunge from part time veterinary technician to full time freelance artist, and would be honored to build something truly beautiful for you! Whether, illustration, photography, design, or a combination of all. My mind works at a million miles an hour when it comes to creativity, so if you don't know what exactly you want, reach out! I am sure we'll be able to come up with something captivating that fits your personal or commercial creative needs. :)
